The “All for One” Regatta held in Montague this past weekend signals the official opening of the regatta season. Nine boats registered in the “C” class, eleven boats registered in the “B” class and seven boats were registered in the “A” class.

When it was all over, in the “C” class - “Irene Goodnight” skippered by Clyde Rolle, said goodnight and took home the crown. “Legal Weapon” came in second followed by the “Sweet Island Gal” in third. A newcomer to the sailing scene, (launched last year at the Long Island Regatta), “Sweet Island Gal was built by renowned boat builder Mark Knowles out of Mangrove Bush, Long Island – definitely a sloop to keep your eyes on this regatta season.
Look out for “Sweet Island Gal” in Farmer’s Cay this weekend!!
